BAND HISTORY Free Peoples formed in San Francisco area in 2001 as a trio. Tim Sawyer of Buzz, vocals and rhythm guitar. Michael DiPirro of Top Four Flights, New Clear Vision and Billy Kreutzmann's trichromes, on bass and vocals. Johnny Downer of Top Four Flights, New Clear Vision and Point Being, on lead guitar and vocals. James Foster of Sonny Lowe on Drums and Jason Thor of Brian Setzer Orchestra on trombone.
